Charles A. Peters, the president of Dependable Auto Parts in New Orleans, died at 6:50 a.m. at Methodist Hospital in New Orleans. Rose Carchetti Peters, secretary-treasurer of Dependable, died at 7:10 a.m. at the same hospital. Mr. Peters had been hospitalized for several weeks for a tumor and other complications. Mrs. Peters was admitted recently for congestive heart failure, the family said. Mrs. Peters never knew her husband had died, a family member said. Mr. Peters, who was born in Limestone, N.Y., and Mrs. Peters, who was born in Carlton, Pa., had been residents of New Orleans for 40 years. They both were parishioners of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church. Mr. Peters also was a member of City Park Golf Club. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific. Mrs. Peters was a member of the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and Life & Lively of Resurrection Church. They are survived by a son, Damian A. Peters, and a grandson. Mr. Peters also is survived by four brothers, Murray, Glen, Melvin and Joe Peters. Mrs. Peters also is survived by three sisters, Angeline Leone, Jerry Sayers and Josephine Strammachia; and two brothers, Sam and Joe Carchetti. A Mass will be said Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
