Lebreton, an architect with Maxwell and Lebreton, died Tuesday at Flo's Tender Loving Care Services in Metairie. He was 85. Mr. Lebreton was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He served as chairman of the Vieux Carre Commission of New Orleans, was a member of the board of directors of the International Trade Mart, was a past president of the Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners and a past president of the New Orleans chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute. Mr. Lebreton also was president of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, was a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Lebreton. A funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
