Bob Livingston, will be Friday. Mr. Livingston was electrocuted Tuesday while trimming a tree in Lakeview. He was 37. Mr. Livingston had established a business, Tree Patrol, after Hurricane Katrina, to help clear trees and debris that littered the city in the wake of the storm. He was cutting branches from a tree at a home when he accidentally came into contact with a live wire and was electrocuted. Mr. Livingston, who was born in Raceland and lived in New Orleans, spent much of his youth in Annandale, Va., where his family moved after his father was elected and served in Congress representing Louisiana's 1st District from 1977 to 1999. He lived one year in France, where he attended American University in Paris. After a year of college, he joined the Army, working in intelligence at Fort Meade, Md., and in South Korea. Mr. Livingston received a bachelor's degree from the Savannah School of Art and Design and a master's degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans. An artist and musician, Mr. Livingston planned to pursue a career in musical production. Mr. Livingston is survived by his fiancée, Shelly Leeke of Charleston, S.C.; his parents, Bob and Bonnie Livingston of New Orleans; two brothers, Robert Livingston III of Savannah, Ga., and David Livingston of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Susan Livingston Kirchner of Shreveport; and his grandparents, Mrs. Estelle Robichaux and Dr. Richard Robichaux, both of Raceland, and Mrs. Dorothy Billet of New Orleans. A Mass will be said Friday at noon at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 631 State St. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Cemetery.
