All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Joseph Tedesco, aged 67 years, a native of Palermo, Italy, but a resident of New Orleans for the past fifty-four years, died Saturday at 1:35 p.m. at his residence, 1484 N. Rampart Street. His funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, from his late residence. Interment in Louisa Street Cemetery. Mr. Tedesco was one of the oldest oyster dealers in New Orleans, and he enjoyed a wide acquaintance in the downtown section of the city. He married Miss Mary Guminu of this city, and of this union eleven children survive. Members of the Terminese Italian Benevolent Association, St. Bartholomew Benevolent Association, and the Compagrua Benevolent Italian Association are invited to attend the funeral on Sunday afternoon.
