All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Supernumerary Reprimanded for Neglect of Duty Supernumerary Patrolman Henry Tedesco, of the Fifth Precinct, yesterday pleaded guilty before Superintendent Molony on charges of neglect of duty and was fined eight days pay for the time lost while suspended. Although returned to duty, he was reprimanded severly by the superintendent, who told him all patrolmen must be constantly "on the job" while on duty. Captain Theodore Ray testified that on July11 he found Tedesco who was detailed at the Southern Pacific shops seated in a chair in the office, with his coat, collar hand revolver hanging from a nearby nail.
