Maloney and Julia Phelan; sister of the late Mrs. Johanna Phillips, James P., Robert R., Julius A., and Frank R. Maloney. Relatives and friends of the family, also faculty and Mothers' Club of Crossman School, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the funeral home of Pat J. McMahon-Coburn Co., 2305 Canal street, corner North Miro street on Tuesday morning, January 10, 1950 at 10 o'clock, followed by requiem mass at St. James Major church. Interment in Metairie cemetery. Shreveport, La. papers please copy. source: Times-Picayune (New Orleans, LA) Tuesday, January 10, 1950, page 5 Miss Maloney, 59, Last Rites Today. - Funeral services for Miss Anna Agnes Maloney, who taught in New Orleans public schools for 43 years, will be conducted Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. from the Pat. J. McMahon-Coburn Company funeral home, 2305 Canal. Requiem mass will follow at St. James Major church and interment will be in Metairie cemetery. Mrs. Maloney, who was 59 years old, died Monday at 6:10 a. m. at the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. James P. Maloney, 2916 49th, in Metairie. She resided at 5113 Lafaye. Miss Maloney was a native of New Orleans and attended the old New Orleans Normal school. She was teaching for the 36th year at A. B. Brossman elementary school when she became ill in November. In addition to Mrs. James P. Maloney, she is survived by two other sisters-in- law, Mrs. Julius A. and Mrs. John V. Maloney and several nieces and nephews.
