Maloney Dies at 55 Years. - Julius Anthony Maloney, who for more than 15 years was superintendent of incinerator B at Loyola avenue and Sixth street, died yesterday at his home, 4928 Franklin avenue. He was 55 years old. Native of New Orleans, Mr. Maloney was a member of Ionic Lodge No. 374, F. and A. M. Veteran of World War I, he was also a member of the American Legion. Mr. Maloney is survived by the widow, the former Miss Aimee Ranval; a son, Charles Maloney, a daughter, Miss Julia Maloney, and a sister, Miss Anna Maloney. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. at P. J. M. and faculty and staff of Tulane university, college of commerce are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Thursday afternoon, September 18, 1947, at 2 o'clock from the funeral home of Pat J. McMahon-Coburn Co., 2305 Canal street, corner North Miro street. Interment in Hope Mausoleum.
