She was 86 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Donald V. Blanchard. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Charles N. Meole of Baton Rouge; three daughters and sons-in-law; Lynne and Jim Rawley of Lake Charles, Phyllis and James Pierce of Wilmington, N.C., and Kathy and Paul Bernacchio of Denham Springs; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles N. Meole Jr. of Seattle and Nicholas and Karen Meole of Walker; two sisters, Esther Fisher, of Boutte and Jo Kotter of Mandeville; a brother, James P. Maloney of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren, Seth Sherman, Rachel Meole Nester, Joe Rawley, Jennifer Meole, Caleb and Kate Bernacchio, Ben Pierce, Andrew Bernacchio and Claire Bernacchio; a great-grand-child, Julie Meole; and companion and loving friend, Ruby Young. Preceded in death by her parents, James P. Maloney Sr. and Esther E. Coburn; four sisters, Mary Elma Maloney, Lucille Serio, Ida Maloney and Juanita Thomson; and a brother, Arthur Maloney.
