Died: On Wednesday evening, January 17, at 5 o'clock, of Cholera, Virgil N. 
Smyth, in the 28th year of his age. Poor Virgil is no more. His friends mourn 
his loss. His enemies, if he had any, are forever silenced.

His funeral will take place this evening, at 3 o'clock, from his late 
residence, on Melpomene street, between Nayades and Apollo streets. His 
friends, and those of his brothers, are, without further notice, invited to 
attend.
