Spriggens, Mary
Mary Ann Spriggens passed away on April 18, 2021. At the age of 80. Mary Ann 
is survived by her children Eula White, James Spriggens Sr. (Terri), Terry 
(Willie) Willis, Lynette White, Otis (Marlenna) Spriggens Sr. and Kayshyna 
(Ashton) Spriggens-Surtain.; brothers Johnny (Catherine) Hicks Sr., Robert 
(Diane) Spriggens Sr. and Daniel Weber; sisters Cheryl Sanchez and Carolyn 
Parker. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-
great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her mother Mable Weber, stepfather 
Harper Weber, grandmother Mary Spriggens, aunt Lula Lee, five brothers, James 
Hicks, Narcisse Weber, Mansell Spriggens Sr.; and two sisters, Lula Harvey and 
Donna Grant. Family and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday, 
April 27, 2021 for 9:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef 
Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 
10:00 a.m., Rev. Dr. Roger Graham, officiating. Due to COVID-19, seating 
capacity is limited to 75 people. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial
