Be it Remembered, That on this day to-wit: the Fourth of December 
1880, ... before me, Joseph Jones, M. D., in and for the Parish 
and City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared: 
John A. Baudier, a native of this City, residing No. 127 Barracks 
Street, who hereby declares, that on the twenty second day of 
November 1880 [22 Nov. 1880] at the foresaid residence was born 
a male child, named 

			Louis Maurice Baudier [white] 

lawful issue of deponent, a native of this City, aged 31 years, 
occupation Commission Merchant and Louise Angela Baudier, a native 
of this City, aged 21 years. 

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid Jn. A. 
Baudier ... 

* affidavit and Baptismal certificate altered July 1, 1949. Ann 
C. [the date of birth was altered to read twenty second day of 
November instead of the twenty ninth day of November]. Also at 
the top of the certificate is written, died 8/24/64; 6137.
