Be it Remembered, That on this day, to-wit: the Eighteenth of 
January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and 
Eighty Six (18 January 1886) ... before me Joseph Holt, M.D. ... 
in and for the City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared 
Augustin Lamothe, a native of N. O., La., residing No. 225 Bourbon 
St., who hereby declares, that on Ninth of July Eighteen Hundred 
and Eighty Three (9 July 1883) at the aforesaid residence was born 
a male child, named 

			Daniel Augustin Baudier (white) 

lawful issue of Jno. A. Baudier a native of N. O., La. aged 28 years, 
Occupation Clerk and Angela Baudier, a native of N. O., La., aged 
22 years.

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid Augustin Lamothe.
