Be it Remembered, That on this day, to-wit: the Twenty-ninth of 
September in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and 
Sixty-eight and the Ninety-three of the Independence of the United 
States of America, before me, L. Pessou, duly commissioned Recorder 
of Births and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared:
Pierre Berges a native of France residing on Elssrysa [?] Street 
between Love and Good Children Streets in this City. Who hereby 
declares that on the twenty-second day of September Eighteen Hundred 
and Sixty-seven (September 22nd 1867) at nine o'clock a.m. at deponents 
residence was born a male child named 

			Louis Berges

Lawful issue of deponent with Josephine Capdeville a native of France.

Thus Done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid P. Berges 
as also in that of Messrs. ************ and H. Colin both of this 
City, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their 
hands together with me, after due reading hereof, the day, month and 
year first above written.
