C. Morphy, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births, Marriages and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, personally appeared: Winifred Campbell (born Roper) a native of Ireland, residing at No. 180 Franklin Street, 1st Dist. in this city hereby declares that on the sixteenth day of July Eighteen Hundred and Sixty-one (16 th of July 1861) at ten minutes after twelve o'clock a. m. at deponent's residence was born a female child named Elizabeth Campbell lawful issue of deponent with Hugh Campbell of Ireland. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Winifred Campbell and also in that of Messrs. (illegible) both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after due reading hereof, the day , month and year first above written.
