Be it Remembered, That on this day to wit: the Eight of January 
in the year of our Lord, One Thousand, (Eight-struck out) Nine 
Hundred (and-struck out) and the One Hundred and 24 of the 
Inedpendance of the United States of America, before me, 
QUITMAN KOHNKE, M.D., Chairman of the Board of Health and 
Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for 
the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared 

Stephen G. Carreras, native of this city residing at 2262 Urquhart St. 
who hereby declares that on the twenty seventh of May 1898 (27 May 1898) 
at the aforesaid residence was born a female child named 

		ROSA MARIE CECELIA CARRERAS (WHITE) 

lawful issue of FRANK J. CARRERAS a native of this city, aged 38 years, 
occupation Laborer, and Mary Seibert a native of Germany, aged 36 years, 

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid S.G. Carreras. 
as also in that of P.H. Lanauze and J. Todowd both of this city, witnesses 
requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after 
reading hereof the day, month and year above written.
