Be it Remembered, That on this day to-wit: the Third of March in 
the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Five [
March 3, 1875] ... in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared: 
P. Viosca, a native of Spain, residing at No. 291 Chartres Street, 
in this city, who hereby declares that on the twenty ninth of 
September Eighteen hundred and Seventy four [September 29, 1874] 
at No. 288 Prieur Street, in this city was born a male child named, 

			Paul Oscar Gelpi

lawful issue of Paul Gelp with Louisa Baudier both native of New Orleans. 

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of P. Viosca ...
