R. OLLIPHANT, M.D., duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births, marriages, and deaths, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, personally appeared, URBIN R. GASSEU, a native of LA residing in 543 JERSEY ST., who hereby declares that on the TWENTY-NINTH OF DECEMBER 1893 (DEC 29/93) AT HIS RESIDENCE was born a MALE child named URBIN GASSEU (WHITE) LAWFUL issue of DEPONENT, a Native of N. O., LA, aged 33 years, occupation, OVERSEER and BERTHA ZERINGUE, a native of N. O., LA, aged 24 years. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid, URBIN R. GASSEU, as also in that of Messrs. P. H. LANAUZE & M. GIEURAND, both of this city, witnesses, by me requested so to be who have hereunto set their hands together with me after due reading hereof, the day, month, and year found above written.
