M. Crozat, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, personally appeared: J. J. Steeg a native of Germany residing corner of ______and Camp streets in this city _____by these _____declares that on the nineth of August eighteen hundred and sixty five (9th August 1865) at ten o'clock A. M. in this city was born a female child named: JOHANNA LOUISA HEINS lawful issue of Otto Heins and Louise Fabian both natives of Germany Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid J. J. Steeg as also in that of Messers, Paul E. Crozat and F. M. Crozat both of this City, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after due reading hereof, the day, month, and year first above written.
