M. Crozat, duly commissioned and sworn RECORDER OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS, in and for the Parish and City of Orleans, personally appeared, Mr Joseph Adams Hall a native of Boston in the State of Massachusetts, a merchant of this city, residing on Race Street between Camp and Colliseum Streets in the Second Municipality, who in presence of the undersigned witnesses declares, that on the twenty fifth of September eighteen hundred and forty three at one o'clock P M in a house situated on the corner of Camp Street and Lafayette Square in the aforesaid municipality was born a male child named Joseph Caswell Hall issue of the legitimate marriage of deponent with Mrs. Margaretta Indiana Caswell a native of Cincinnati in the State of Ohio. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Mr Joseph Adams Hall as also in that of Messrs. Louis William Andry and Eugene Lacoste both of this City, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after due reading hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
