Casanave, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births, Marriages and Deaths in and for the Parish and City of Orleans personally appeared Marie Legier born Masson, a native of Louisiana residing in this city who hereby declares that on the first day of December eighteen hundred and Seventy-five (December 1st, 1876) was born a female child named Corinne Legier, issue of the lawful marriage of deponent with John Legier, a native of Louisiana.
