P. Wilkinson, M. D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births Marriages and Deaths in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans personally appeared Octave Legier a native of this city residing at No 263 Dumaine St. who hereby declares that on the twenty-ninth day of January, 1881 (29 January, 1881) at his aforesaid residence was born a male child, named Francois Theodore James Legier (white) lawful issue of Deponent a native of this city. aged 43 years, occupation Clerk and Marie Odeide Drouet a native of this city, aged 43 years, Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid O.
