Be it remembered, that on this day, to wit, the twenty-third of May in the
year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four and the one
hundred and eighteenth of the Independence of the United States of America,
before me, S. R. Olliphant, M.D., President, Board of Health and Ex-officio
Recorder of Births, Deaths, and Marriages in and for the Parish and City of
New Orleans, personally appeared,

Lea J. Burton, a native of Louisiana, residing at 28 Newton St., Algiers,
who hereby declares that on the 28th day of March 1882 (March 28, 1882) at
his residence, was born a male child, named

		Robert James McLean (White),

lawful issue of John O. McLean, a native of Louisiana, aged 36 years,
occupation, ship Carpenter,
and
Elizabeth H. Aikman, a native of Louisiana, aged 30 years.

This done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid, Lea J. Burton, as
also in that of Messrs. P. H. Lanauze and A. P. Smith, both of this city,
witnesses by me requested so to be who have hereunto set their hands
together with me after due reading hereof, the day, month and year found
above written.

Notes:  Grandchild of:  John Owen McLean, Sr. and Mary Jane Sweetland McLean
and Robert Miller Aikman and Isophene Burkett Aikman Smith (2nd marriage to
John Smith).
