Olliphant, M.D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriage, in and for the Parish and City of Orleans, personally appeared: Palmer Ory, a native of Louisiana residing at 7201 St. Charles St. who hereby declares, that on the 22nd Day of May 1896 (22nd May 1896) at his residence was born a male child, named Rene' Ory (white) lawful issue of Deponent a native of Louisiana age 45 years, occupation Butcher and Josephine Zirang [sic] a native of Louisiana, aged 39 years. Thus Done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Palmer Ory as also in that of Messrs. P.H. Lanauze and R.
