Be it Remembered, That on this day, to-wit the Twelfth of 
December in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred 
and Eighty One [12 December 1881], and the One Hundred and 
Sixth of the Independence of the United States of America, 
before me, Joseph Jones, M. D., President Board of Health 
and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, 
in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared: 
John Pflueger, a native of Germany, residing No. 605 Bagatelle 
Street who hereby declares that on the Second day of November 
1881 (2nd November 1881) at the aforesaid residence was born 
a male child, named 

			Frederick August Pflueger (white) 

lawful issue of Deponent, a native of Germany aged 49 years, 
occupation Laborer, and Eve Eyer a native of Alsace, aged 48 
years, 

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid
