Be it Remembered, That on this day, to wit:  the Eleventh of April 
in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Four 
and the ninety Eight of the Independence of the United States of 
America, before me, H. M. Dibble, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder 
of Births, Marriages and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of 
New Orleans, 

personally appeared:
John Pfeiffer a Native of this City Louisiana residing on Levee 
between Cambronne and Jefferson Streets in this City who hereby 
declares that on the Eight day of February Eighteen Hundred and 
Seventy three on Levee between Cambronne and Jefferson Streets 
was born a female child named 

			AMELIA ELIZABETH PFEIFFER 

Lawful issue of deponent with Mathilda Althaus a native of Germany.

This Done at New Orleans, in the Presence of the aforesaid John 
Pfeiffer as also in that of Messrs. M. C. Vanderwall, &. H. Tebbo? 
both of this City, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have 
hereunto set their hands, together with me, after due reading 
hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
