Crozat, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder Of Births and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of Orleans personally appeared: Theordore Bigot a native of New Orleans residing on Magazine Street near Rampart Street in this city who by these presents declares that on the fourth day of November Eighteen hundred and Sixty two at three o'clock p.m. in a house on Liberty Street beten Howard and Calliope Streets in this city was born a male child named John Charles Rice issue of the lawful marriage of Barred (sic) Rice with Catherine Swords both natives of Ireland. THUS DONE at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Theordore Bigot and also in that of Paul Emile Crozat and A. A.
