All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http:/www.usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ BE IT REMEBERED, that on this day to with the Thirty first of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven and the eighty second of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, PIERRE LACOSTE, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of Orleans, personally appeared Mr. Hermann Sayer [or Payer] residing in this city corner of Toulouse and Treme Streets, who hereby declares, that on the twelfth of June eighteen hundred & fifty three (June 12th 1853) was born in this City on Eighth Street a female child named Carolina Rehm, Legitimate issue of Heinrich Rehm, a native of Munster(?), Rhine Bavaria, with Catharine Thurwachter, a native of Mimfelt (?) in the same country. THUS DONE at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Hermann Sayer [or Payer] as also in that of Messrs.
