Be it remember that on this day to wit the fourthenth of April in 
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six and 
the eighteeth of the independence of the untied stats of america 
before me Pierre LaCoste duly commissioned and sworn recorder of 
births and deaths in and for the parish and city of new orleans 

personally appeared:
Mrs Josephine Seidensticker born Miller a native of Germany aged 
26 years residing in this city corner of Louisa and Good Children 
Street who here by declares that on the fifth of OCtober one 
thousand eight hundred and fifty five (5th Oct 1855) at deponants 
aforesaid residence was born a male child named 

			Henry Seidensticker 

the issue of the legitamate marriage of deponant with Mr Joseph 
Seidensticker a native of Germany aged thirty years.

Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Josephine 
Seidensticker as also in that of Messrs ***** and ***** both of this 
city witnesses by me requested so to be who have hereunto set their 
hands together with me after due reading hereof the day, month and 
year first above written.
