1894-Be it Remembered, That on this day to-wit: the Ninth of 
January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred 
and Ninety Six and the One Hundred and 20 of the independence 
of the United States of America, before me, S. R. Olliphant, 
M. D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of 
Birth, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish and City 
of New Orleans, 

personally appeared 
P. H. Baudier, native of this city residing #1235 Johnson St. 
who hereby declares that on the Twelfth of October 1894 (Oct 12 
1894) at this aforesaid residence was born a female child, named 

			Emma Corrinne Serpas (White) 

Lawful issue of Louis Serpas a native of this city aged 23 years, 
occupation Clerk and Mary Baudier a native of this city, aged 21 
years, 

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid P. H. 
Baudier ...Sworn to and Subscribed before me this 9 day of Jan. 1896
