D. President, Board of Health and ex-officio recorder of births, deaths, and marriages in and for the parish and city of New Orleans, personally appeared, Thomas T. Askeu, a native of this city, residing at no. 219 Willow Street, who hereby declares that on the nineteenth day of September last year (19 Sept 1885) in Algiers in this city, was born a female child, named Katie L. Stenger, (white), lawful issue of Laurence Stenger, a native of Germany, aged 33 years, occupation, Engineer, and Barbara Streib, a native of this city, aged 32 years. This done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid, T. T. Askeu as also in that of Messrs. P.H. Lanauze and A. A. Voorhies, both of this city, witnesses, by me requested so to be who have hereunto set their hands together with me after due reading hereof, the day, month, and year found above written.
