BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this day to-wit: the Fifth of October 
in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-one 
and the One Hundred and Sixth of the independence of the United 
States of America, before me, Joseph Jones, M. D., President Board 
of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, 
in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, 

personally appeared 
Michael Tierney, native of New Orleans residing at No. 51 Louisiana 
Avenue, who hereby declared, that on the twenty-seventh day of July 
1881 (27 July 1881) at his aforesaid residence was born a male & 
female, twins named 

		Oliver Joseph & Amelia Mary Tierney (white) 

lawful issue of the Deponent a native of this city age 22 years,
occupation grocer and Josephine Servat, a native of this city, 
aged 23 years.
