R. Thomas, P. Bates, a native of Liverpool, England, residing on Poydras Street ??? in this city who by these presents declares Martha J. Aikmann (nee Wilkins), a native of New Albany, Indiana, aged about twenty seven years died on the twenty sixth instant (26th December 1864) in this city at 184 Robin Street, New Orleans.Cause of Death (None listed) Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Thomas P. Bates as also in that of Messrs. Paul E. Crozat, and Theo Bigot, both of this city, witnesses, by me requested as to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after reading hereof, this day, month and year first above written.
