April 16, 1877 appeared A. Leitz, a native of Germany, an undertaker, residing at No. 895
Tchopitoulas St. in this city who hereby declares that Jacob Brechtel, a native of New Orleans,
aged 23 years, a clerk, died on this 15th instant, April 15, 1977 at No. 95 Washington St. in
this city.  Conjugal condition:  widower.

Cause of death:  confluent variola
