BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this day to-wit: the twenty-second of 
November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and 
Nine and the One Hundred and 34 of the independence of the United 
States of America before me, W. T. O’REILLY, M. D., Chairman Board 
of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, 
in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared:

J. J. Bernius native of this city residing at No. 2241 Magazine St, 
who hereby declares that 

		Abner Bernius (white) 

a native of this city, aged 32 years departed this life on the 
sixteenth (November 16, 1909) at Port Arthur, Texas.
