All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Be it remembered that on this day to wit, the twenty fifth of September, the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine and the sixty fourth of the Independence of the United States of America, before me Vincent Ramos, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of the Births and Deaths in and for the Parish of the City of New Orleans, personally appeared, Mr. Greer B Duncan a native of the State of Missouri, in the United States of America aged twenty nine years an Attorney and Consellor at Law residing on Royal Street No 44 in this first Municipality, Who by there presents Doth Declare that Mr. Daniel J Caswell, a native of the town of Kent in the State of Connecticut, aged forty eight years, late an attorney at Law, Departed this life on the twenty first day of the present month of September in the night at about Seven o'clock. He was married in his life time to Mrs. Mary Bankhead Wilson his surviving consort Domiciliated in these Parish. Thus done in New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Mr Greer B Duncan as also in that of Messers. Octave Blacke and Andrew Morel both if this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me after due reading hereof, the day month and year above written.
