LATORRE, duly commisioned and sworn RECORDER OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS in and for the Parish and City of Orleans, personally appeared Esteban Carreras a native of Spain, residing at No 80 Morales street (third district in this city) who hereby declares that MAGDALENA CARRERAS a native of New Orleans aged sixteen months, died on the twenty- first inst. in the present year (21st of May 1868) at ten o'clock am at his aforesaid residence in this city. Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid Esteban Carreras as also in that of Messrs. A. Sindos and J. A. Liautaus both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after reading hereof this day, month and year above written. Signed: Jos. A.
