Be it Remembered, That on this day to wit: the Twenty sixth 
of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred 
and Twenty two and the One Hundred and 46 of the Inedpendance 
of the United States of America, before me, JOHN CALLAN, M.D., 
Chairman of the Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of 
Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, 
and the City of New Orleans, personally appeared 

C. Hasting. an undertaker native of this city residing at 527 
Elysian Fields Ave. who hereby declares that 

	Catherine Schwab, wife of Juan Carreras (WHITE) 

a native of N.O.La., aged 84 yrs, departed this life this day. 
(26th of May 1922) at no 1310 Elysian Fields Ave in this city. 
Cause of Death Acute Dysentery, Hemmoroids. Certificate of Dr. 
J. C. Wilbacker. Deceased was the daughter of Nicholas Schwab, 
and Catherine Barrero. Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence 
of the aforesaid C. Hastings. as also in that of P.H. Lanauze and 
W. J. Prudhomme both of this city, witnesses requested so to be, 
who have hereto set their hands together with me, after reading 
hereof this day, month and year above written.
