Fernandez born in Galvezton in this state of Louisiana on the sixteenth day of November in the year seventeen Ninety-nine Keeper of the Records of the Catholic and the Church of St. Louis of this Parish of New Orleans, residing on St. Ann street between Conde and Royal Streets in this Municipality who by these presents doth declare that Francois Armand Legier de Latour born in this parish of New Orleans on the twenty-first of May eighteen and thirty-eight of the legitimate marriage of Mr. Jean Francois Legier de Latour and of Mrs. Barbe Octavie Newman departed this life on the eleventh of this present month of September at eleven o’clock P.M. at the paternal domicile on Morales street between Marigny and Mandeville streets {rest unreadable} This done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid ???? as also in that of Messrs. ???? both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after due reading hereof the day, month and year first above written.
