Be it Remembered, That on this day to=wit the ????????????? in the year of
our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty ?????? and the One Hundred
and ??????? of the independence of the United States of America before me
Joseph Holt, M.D. President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of
Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans,
personally appeared :

J. Lerty, an undertakera native of La. residing at No 825 Tchopitoulas
street who hereby declares, that

 George Doyle (white)

a native of Ireland aged 65 years,
departed this life, yesterday (9 January 1885) at 157 ½ Rousseau Street in
this city
Cause of Death Mitrol Regengetatis ?????????????
Certificate of Dr. John Callan
Deceased was married , and a ????man by occupation

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid J. Lerty as also
that of Messes P H Lanauze & ???????? both of this city witnesses, by me
requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me,
after due reading hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
