BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this day to-wit:  the Eighth of December in the year of our Lord 
One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty-four and the One Hundred and 49 of the Independence of
the United States of America, before me, E. L. Leckert, M. D., Chairman Board of Health and 
Ex-officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, 
personally appeared
D. A. Ingersoll, an undertaker, native of this city residing at No. 442 Jackson Avenue who 
hereby declares that Mary Swords, widow of Jack Farrell (white) a native of N. O. La. Aged 
60 yrs. Departed this life yesterday (78th of December 1924) at No. 940 Pleasant St. in this 
city.
Cause of Death Apoplexy

Deceased was the daughter of Matthew Swords, and Ellen Howard, both natives of Ireland.
