Crozal , duly commissioned and sworn RECORDER OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS, in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared, Mr. Gustave Jacquet, a native of this city a merchant residing on N. Peter Street between Chartes and Royal Streets in the first municipality who by there presents, declares that Carlos Jacquet born in this city aged forty five years , legitimate son of Mr. Francois Jacquet and of Mrs. Franchonette Carrel died in this city on the seventeenth of January of this present year (14th January 1847) deceased was a widower Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Mr. Gustave Jacquet as also in that Messrs. Charles Bayhi and Eugene Lacoste both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after due reading herof, the day, month and year first above written Signed: F.M.
