Be it remembered, That on this day to wit: the Third of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine and the ninety fourth of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, L. Pessou, duly commissioned and sword Recorder of Births and Deaths, and for the Parish and City of Orleans personally appeared: Lena Bell, a native of Virginia, residing on Gravier Street in this city who hereby declares that Alice Lyons, a native of Georgia, aged seventeen years died on the third instant (Nov 3, 1869) at four o'clock a.m. in a house on Gravier Street no. 150 in this city. Cause of Death: Small Pox. Certificate of Coroner Roche. This done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Lena Bell as also in that of Messrs. A. A. Laffendance, H.
