Casanave, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births Marriages and Deaths in and for the Parish and City of Orleans personally appeared C. J. (?) a native of New Orleans, residing in the Parish of Jefferson, who hereby declares that Etienne William Legier A native of New Orleans aged Sixteen years and Ten months, Died Decem. on the Twenty Second instant in the present year (December 22, 1874) at the corner of Mandeville and Goodchildren Streets in the city.
