D., Chairman Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births Deaths and Marriages in and for the Parish of Orleans and the City of New Orleans, personally appeared Wm. Betz, an undertaker, native of this city residing at no. 7611 Maple St. who hereby declares that Lewis Legier, (white) a native of N.O., La. aged 59 years, 1 mo. departed this life this day (11th of June 1926) at No. 2231 Laharpe St. in this city. Cause of Death Carcinoma of Bladder, Septic Absorption Certificate of Dr. F. J. Chalaroe Deceased was married to Cecelia Lyons, a restaurant prop., and the son of Rene Legier and Palmyria Leriche, both natives of La. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Wm. Betz as also in that of P. H. Lanauze & W. J. Prudhomme both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after due reading hereof the day, month and year first above written.
