M. Batchelor, M. D., Chairman Board of Health and ex-Officio Recorder of Births Deaths and Marriages in and for the Parish of Orleans and the city of New Orleans personally appeared C. Preau an undertaker, native of this city residing 1225 N. Rampart St.. who hereby declares that Woodie J. Legier, (white) a native of N. O., La.. aged 54 years departed this life yesterday (6th of July, 1939) at No. 2502 Ursuline Ave, in this city. Cause of Death Uraemia, Hypostatic Pneumonia, Cerebral Hemorrhage (Apoplexy 18 mos. Ago) Chr. Int. Nephritis. Myocardial Degeneration Certificate of Dr. T. A. Jung Deceased was the widower of Beatrice E. Welb, Purchasing Agent, City of New Orleans, and the son of Octave Legier and Odie Drouet, both natives of La. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid C. Preau as also in that of P. H. Lanauze & W. J. Prudhomme both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after due reading hereof the day, month and year first above written.
