All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Be it remembered that on this day, to wit the Thirteenth of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four and the One Hundred and Eighth of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, Joseph Jones, M.D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared: F. Dupeche an undertaker, a native of France residing at No. 57 Elysian Fields St. who hereby declares that Rene Legier (white) a native of this city aged 40 years and 6 months departed this life, Yesterday (12 January 1884) at No. 545 St. Claude St. in this city Cause of Death Phthisis Pulmonalis Certificate of Dr. R. Sauvage This done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid F. Dupeche as also in that of Messrs. B. B.
