Pessou, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Birthsand Deaths in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans, personally appeared: Rene Legier, a native of New Orleans residing No. 68 [?] Street in this city who hereby declares that Mrs. Rene Legier born Palmyre Leriche a native of Louisiana aged twenty-six years died on the twenty-first day of April of this present year (April 21st, 1870) at half past twelve o’clock midnight at No. 43 [?] Street third district in this city Cause of death Puerperal Certificate of Dr. D’Aquin This done in the presence of the aforesaid Rene Legier as also in that of Messrs.
