All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Be it remembered on this day to wit on the twenty sixth of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four and the fifty eighth of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, Vincent Ramos duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births and Deaths in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared Jacques Philippe Desbois, a native of St. Domingo, aged thirty five years, a broker residing in this city Chartres Street between Toulouse & St. Louis Streets-Who by those present doth declare that Nicolas Mioton, a native of this city, aged about forty three years, late a planter residing at the Parish of Orleans, died on the nineteenth of February of this present month at five o’clock p.m. Bayou Road. The said Nicolas Mioton was married to Emilie Daram, a native of St. Domingo, aged about forty years and his surviving consort. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Jacques Philippe Desbois as also in that of Messrs. Joachim Adolphe Treme and Fleury Generelly both of this city witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me after due reading hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
