D., Chairman Board of Health and ex-Officio Recorder of Births Deaths and Marriages in and for the Parish of Orleans and the city of New Orleans personally appeared C. Hartwig an undertaker, native of this city residing at No. 527 Elysian Fields Ave... who hereby declares that Marie Masson widow of John R. Legier (white) a native of N. O., La.. aged 73years. departed this life (?) (12 of March 1922) at no. 3020 (?) in this city. Cause of Death, Carcinoma Cervix. Chr. Int. Nephritis Certificate of Dr. (?) Deceased was the daughter of Edmond Masson, and Pauline Renaud both Natives of La. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid C. Hartwig as also in that of P. H. Lanauze & W. J. Prudhomme both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me, after due reading hereof the day, month and year first above written.
