Be it Remembered That on this day to wit the Fourth of January in the year of our 
Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty-Eight and the One Hundred and 52 of the 
Independence of the United States of America, before m, W H Robin M D Chairman 
of the Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births Deaths and Marriages in 
and for the Parish of Orleans and the City of New Orleans 

personally appeared 
Wm Betz Jr an undertaker native of this city residing at No 7611 Maple St who hereby 
declares that 

		MATHILDA ALTHANS PFEIFFER (White) 

a native of NO La aged 75 yrs 6 mos departed this life yesterday (3 January 1928) 
at No 7615 Zimple St in this city

Cause of Death   Lobar Pneumonia Myocarditis

Deceased was the widow of John Pfeiffer and the daughter of John H Althans and Elizabeth Beusch both natives of Germany

Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Wm Betz Jr as also in that 
of P H Lanauze and W J Prudhomme both of this city witnesses by me requested so to 
be who have hereto set their hands together with me after reading hereof this month and 
year first above written
